She is an English singer, songwriter, author, actress, and philanthropist. In 1994, Halliwell, along with Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, and Victoria Beckham, formed the Spice Girls. The group became one of the most successful girl groups of all time, selling over 75 million records worldwide. Halliwell was the group’s lead singer and has been credited with helping to develop the group’s image and style.
